COBI 2284 – Battle of Arras 1940 – Matilda II vs Panzer 38(t) (Speed Build Review)
With Battle of Arras, COBI has designed a small diorama in which the two tanks Matilda II and Panzer 38 (t) face each other in front of a small ruin.

With this new version of the Panther, QuanGuan has gone all out and completely dispensed with the ugly molded parts engine. Instead, you can build properly.
It’s been a few years since the last real COBI tank destroyer. A lot of effort was put into the new Jagdpanther and not skimped on many small details.
This extraordinarily detailed set is the largest I have built to date. Despite its size, it is surprisingly stable and affordable.
With this set, the first railway moves into my canal. Since everything revolves around the military here, it is of course the BR52 war locomotive.
Collectors can probably skip this model. You can tell immediately which tank it is, but there are models that are much closer to the original. But this cheetah is remote controlled and can shoot.
Even though both sets have a different scale, they fit together very well. Due to the small number of parts I have summarized them in a video.
This model is certainly not a beauty. But one can certainly appreciate what Sluban has created from normal stones without special moldings.
Only recently there was a Marder III from COBI. Unlike the Sd.Kfz.138, this Sd.Kfz.139 comes licensed from Company of Heroes 3. This makes the set a bit more expensive as the licensor also wants to see some money.
The well-known and feared 8.8 FLAK as a clamping block set is just a small snack for in between. In addition to the actual gun, there are a number of small parts for decoration.
With every upgrade there are improvements and innovations. Really with everyone? With this model, COBI seems to have forgotten that and re-launched an almost identical model.
This Bismarck is already the third version that I am building. Don’t expect great innovations, but more details and prints shouldn’t be scoffed at either. In the video I compare all versions.
