Construction

For this model, Mold King uses a rather unusual engine that you would expect to find on trains. The very large battery box has small connections to which a normal motor cannot be connected. The rough structure is largely solved using technical components. After that, we continue primarily with system components. The side exhaust pipes are made using hoses that have to be cut to size with a cutter. At the rear is the carriage through which the grenades are fed.

The actual mortar is built separately and then placed on the hull. Once this has been connected to the motor on the underside, it can no longer be moved by hand. The tracks are mounted on numerous rollers, which were quite fiddly to attach. Finally, a grenade and the railing are built.

Conclusion:

Compared to COBI, this Karl is slightly smaller and less detailed. Thanks to the motorization, it offers gaming functions that you cannot find with COBI. This set is also impressive in terms of price.
