Occasionally, a model comes onto the market that hasn’t existed before. This variant of the Panzer V Panther was never built and never progressed beyond prototype status.

The color may have put many people off at first glance. The tan does look a bit like Quan Guan’s very first models. The interior and the special turret, however, quickly show that this is a new and unique model. Quan Guan no longer uses copies of COBI’s tracks. Their own not only look better, they also run smoothly and don’t require any pressure from above, even on smooth surfaces. While the hull doesn’t offer any real innovations or challenges, the turret is a different story. Due to the special construction, some areas are slightly unstable and building it in front of the camera was a bit of a challenge. In the end, however, the result is a beautiful and fairly sturdy model that not only looks good but is also very attractively priced.
