Construction
Plenty of plates and large bricks are used for the hull. In contrast to the predecessor, however, significantly more small details are installed here. Even the tree trunk is not just a molding. The structure of the hull is the same as most of the newer tank models. The entire surface is tiled.
The tracks on this model run perfectly even on slippery surfaces. The engine could have been a bit fancier though. COBI did a better job with other models. This looks more like part of a Chinese building. The turret is complex and the shape is well taken. But what I don’t like are the missing white stripes, which you only get in the limited edition. Unfortunately, the turret of the standard version is also built differently, so that one could not simply incorporate existing white parts.
Conclusion:
The model is successful, but priced quite high. If you want the white stripes, you have to invest even more money and you also get more minifigures and a building that I could do without. An executive edition with white stripes would have been nice.
