Construction

The construction of the new A-10 begins as we are used to with its predecessors. The hull is built in several stages and then assembled. Aside from the camouflage pattern, the first noticeable difference is the weaponry. This consists of fewer molded parts and is mostly built from bricks.

This makes the wings look very impressive. While the first version relied on built-in elevators, the familiar molded parts are used here. However, the engines and rear wing hardly differ from their predecessors. The base also receives the new, transparent holder for the model.

Conclusion:

If you don’t like the simple variations of the predecessors, you can now build an A-10 in camouflage colors. Otherwise there are almost no changes. COBI continues the policy of many variations within a model series that we see in almost all new aircraft models.
