In the media, this tank is currently quite widely represented. But even before that, this model was well known and now serves as a template for the new Sluban Military series.
|Building Time ca.:||2 Hours|
This set was provided to me by Afobricks.
We start building the hull with a mixture of system bricks and Technic. Rubber elements are mounted on the axles, which ensure real suspension. Of course, this leaves no room for interior design. The usual tracks are pulled onto the rollers, which we also know from the market leader. These work very well and even run on smooth surfaces.
The quality of the bricks has improved significantly at Sluban, so that tiles can also be placed without any problems. Building techniques that hang from a stud also hold up quite well. This is particularly noticeable on the turret, which is quite filigree in places due to the details.
There is not a single print on the entire model. Everything is solved with stickers. However, these are not the usual standard stickers. Only the pure print is transferred with an application film and gives the impression that it is a printed part. For the conversion from the B3 to the M1 model, only the front and some tiles with stickers have to be exchanged on the hull. Almost everything on the turret has to be rebuilt. All reactive armor is removed.
With this set, Sluban has launched a chic T-72 in 2 versions. You can get it at a bargain price in China. I would have preferred a different color though.
