Construction
In the first phase of construction, plenty of pins have to be inserted in order to get a solid base. The large tires are also pulled directly onto the chassis. The suspension is rather unusual for reasons of space. The spring elements are not attached to the wheels, but are simply framed by components lying flat. The spring travel is therefore very small. But that shouldn’t be any different with the original. The striking shape is created from a mixture of Technic and system components, which ultimately looks much better than a pure Technic solution.
Countless stickers are applied to the entire model. Unfortunately, these are always the full size of the component, even if only a small corner is printed. The front and rear spoilers are built separately and attached to the model with a few pins.
Conclusion:
Visually, the model looks great, even if the all-over stickers are a bit annoying here and there. For a very fair price you get more than you can currently expect from the market leader and with full compatibility.
