Brick Quality
Everything is as usual. Outstanding quality and best clamping force. All parts were printed.
Instructions
First, a tabletop card jumps straight at us. However, there is no sheet of stickers as all parts in this set have been printed. In every construction step, very few parts are installed, the position of which is easy to find, since the rest is grayed out. At the end of the instructions we will find the recently included parts list. The fairly moderate 63 construction steps were divided into 3 construction phases.
Construction
We start with small plates and large bricks that form the base of the tub. This part already contains all the recordings for the rollers.
After the lower hull has been covered with plates and stabilized, it is the turn of the superstructure and the front armor.
Quite a few small parts are installed here, which are not always easy to set. Some places are difficult to reach if you don’t have little fingers. Now it’s the turn of the chains.
As with the Sherman on which this model is based, the tracks run very poorly here. You need a carpet. There is of course no turret in this model, so all we have to do is build the gun. The typical Sherman wheel suspension is also attached.
Conclusion:
Visually, the set is really successful. Many details are realized through many small parts. However, these small parts are a challenge here and there.
