After the previous Mark V, there is now a new Mark I, which was also designed in a 1:35 scale. The level of detail between the two models is quite similar.

Since there is no interior, the model is built as a solid block in several stages. Large bricks are also used. The typical shape of this tank is realized over plenty of slopes. Identical guns are built on both sides.
Gears are placed both at the top and bottom so that the tracks can run completely around the tank. At the rear are the typical large wheels that are used for steering. Since these were not suitable for this, they were replaced by chain brakes in later models, among other things. The cage on the top is quite a delicate affair. The individual struts often come loose during construction. At the end we build a crew member and the nameplate.
The model is beautiful, no question. However, it’s nothing special either. There are no hatches that can be opened and no interior furnishings. In contrast to its predecessors, COBI has given this set a camouflage pattern. I would have liked a 1:28 model with more details.
