COBI 2581 – FERDINAND – Panzerjäger Tiger P – LIMITED EDITION (Speed Build Review)

It’s been a few years since you could get the Ferdinand/Elefant. Since then, a lot of the construction has changed. Unfortunately, not everything is good.

Construction

Since this model has an interior, it does not consist of a massive block of plates. But you can’t complain about a lack of stability. Unfortunately, this does not apply to the tracks. These feel very cheap compared to the old ones and fall apart in your hand. They stick even less to the model. It continues with a nice, big engine and the curved side skirts.

The gun is not just attached as a barrel, but also has an inner workings. Since this version is the limited edition, you will find additional decorations such as leaves and hoses on the model. There is also a stand for the engine, a mechanic and a motorcycle with a sidecar and driver.

Conclusion:

The model looks nice and fortunately comes in 1:28 scale. Basically you can’t complain about the stability, apart from the very poor tracks. Even Quan Guan can do it better.
