DeutschSubmarines are a rarity at COBI. So it is, of course, gratifying that the Navy’s most powerful submarine has been put on the market. However, it could be a little bigger.

Construction
In this model, start with in the middle. On one layer of plates, numerous slopes form the shape of the submarine. The same thing happens on the other side. The largest part of the entire structure is thus redundant.
The bow is built separately and then attached to the fuselage. The deck is very spartan, which is due to the size of the model. The stand with the nameplate completes the assembly.
Conclusion:
Unfortunately, there is no long building fun with this model. Compared to the U-48, the U-47 has almost 300 fewer parts. Nonetheless, the price of the larger model is the same. It looks really nice for its size, but it’s just too expensive.
