Here and there QuanGuan comes up with something of his own. This model is more suitable as a toy and less as a showcase model for collectors.
|Building Time ca.:||2 Hours|
With this set, we don’t start with the actual model. First, some accessories and decorations are built. This includes a stretcher, stockades, a machine gun and a wall of sandbags. Then it goes on with the body of the truck. A foundation is built from several plates, on which the engine compartment is then placed. The entire front is realized without molded parts and still looks pretty good.
The first printed parts are used with the doors that have been built. There are no stickers in the entire set. The spartan cargo space has only suggested benches and is built from bricks and plates. With 1×1 brackets, which QuanGuan likes to use, a reversal of the construction direction is achieved, on which tiles are placed. 2×1 Transclear Bricks are used as windows. Tiles are placed on the cover of the loading area, which, thanks to their usual poor quality, are difficult to set. The red cross on the roof is also made of tiles. Finally, only the tires are built, which are made of a very hard rubber.
Basically, the model doesn’t look bad and the scale also fits the COBI models. For the collector, however, it might not be detailed enough. It doesn’t even include a simple steering wheel. Despite the low price, you also have to think about the mediocre quality, especially the tiles.
