Sluban B0851 – PzKpfw VI Tiger I *RC* (Speed Build Review)

Change language to: de_DE Deutsch

With the Tiger there is another model from Sluban from the RC series. Despite the small scale of 1:35, it comes across as very authentic and is also very stable.

Construction

The build starts with an almost hollow hull as we need space for the battery and motors. Sluban manufactures this in a particularly small version for the RC series. With normal RC components, the 1:35 scale would be very difficult to achieve. After the cables have been stowed away, the hull is completely tiled. We build the front and rear separately and bring them to the right angle with hinges. Now it’s time for the tracks and an engine test. Despite the small engines, the tank is a real speedy.

The turret is built in many separate sections. The result looks very similar to the original, which is rarely the case with almost all other RC models. There are also a few decorations in the form of barbed wire and sandbags. But the set does not contain any minifigures that would have fitted the scale well.

Conclusion:

Sluban has captured the shape of the Tiger well and also created a very stable model. Only the orange gears are a bit inappropriate, even if they offer a nice visual contrast.
