While the last models from the 1:48 series were rather boring, this KV-2 stands out thanks to its details. So you can definitely build very nice models on this scale.

In the first steps, many small parts are installed, which result in an unusual reversal of construction direction. The hull is quickly pulled up and covered with tiles. In this case, this cover is built completely separately. There was a little surprise with the tracks. They run smoothly even on smooth surfaces.
Like its larger counterparts, the turret is created from a base with a reversal of construction direction and various separately built extensions. Details were solved almost exclusively through prints. None of the hatches can be opened. Quan Guan relied a little less on prints in his KV-2 and installed moving parts.
The new KV-2 is an all-round successful model in 1:48 scale. With more than 500 parts you get some nice, entertaining building fun and a great expansion of the existing mini fleet.
